John Eckart, CPSI

John Eckart, currently Director of Business Development for RJR Enterprises, Inc., is representing Cunningham Recreation in Arkansas. John has 10 years of experience as a parks and recreation director in the state of Arkansas. He spent five years as the director in Benton where he oversaw a $50 million park development that included soccer and softball complexes, a community and senior center, an aquatics center as well as a Boys and Girls Club facility. After completion of Riverside Park in Benton, John took the position of Director of Little Rock Parks & Recreation in 2017, where he spent five years focusing on replacing or upgrading aged facilities and bringing facilities up to ADA compliance. He has also served on the board of the Arkansas Recreation and Parks Association for over seven years.

John is excited to grow the parks and recreation industry throughout the state and to serve Cunningham Recreation and RJR representing GameTime and other quality recreation lines. He lives in Little Rock with his wife, Tanja, and their two sons, Filip and Daniel. In his free time, he enjoys playing golf and spending time with family and friends.
