Project Overview
Ballou Park is located in Danville, Virginia and is a PlayCORE/GameTime National Demonstration Site for PlayON!. The park playground has a fully accessible play structure with integrated shade, a ramp with various sensory play gizmos, sensory wave arch, ShadowPlay™ roofs for added play value, river rock climber, slides and other fun play components. The park playground also includes the Roxall Seesaw, Merry Go All, an outdoor musical instrument freestanding play area with integrated shade, and swings including adaptive seats and the very popular GameTime Expression Swing. The play area is complete with engineered wood fiber (EWF) safety surfacing. PlayON!
