Project Overview
Wharf Park is located in Centerville, Maryland and has a nautical theme playground custom designed by Cunningham Recreation using GameTime play equipment. The playground consists of two play structures. The 2-5 play structure looks like a ship and includes masts, a ship's wheel, slide and climbers; and the 5-12 has an ocean look and feel using both color, a coral reef and wave ladder climbers and seaweed accents added to play structure posts. The structure includes slides, stepping pods, net climber, overhead upper body event and sun blossom activity panel. The play space also includes freestanding crab climber, spinning seat as well as theme related graphics designed into the poured-in-place safety surfacing.
