Project Overview
Yuma Elementary School in Scott County School District is located in Gate City, VA and is an NDS PlayON! site. The playground was built using 2023 GameTime Grant matching funds and features a PrimeTime Xscape 5-12 play structure with a Straight Zip slide, Wilderslide, Whirlwind Climber, Pine Climber, Arch Rock Climber, Rockscape, Rock Wall Link, Trapeze Ring Overhead, Xcelerator, and Sunblox Hex Umbrella Canopy. The playground also features an 8’ Volcano Climber, Space Arch, Whirlwind Seat, and a Kidnetix Twirl. The playground is completed with Engineered Wood Fiber (EWF) safety surfacing.
