Project Overview
South Carolina School for the Blind located in Spartanburg, South Carolina is a large inclusive playground that addresses the whole child and the six elements of play in its design. The playground consists of two fully ramped play structures with lots of fun play components and sensory rich activities. The play areas are completed with poured-in-place rubber safety surfacing bordered by a sidewalk. The playground also includes play houses, a pavilion, site furnishings, swings, bench swing, merry-go-all and other freestanding play elements.
