Project Overview
Riverside Humiston Park is located at 400 W. Water Street in Pontiac, Illinois. This GameTime playground has been named a Playcore National Demonstration Site for Inclusive Play. The project was part of the IPRA Training and Funding Initiative partnership program with GameTime and Playcore. This inclusive design includes a fully ramped accessible play structure in natural colors with a tower, various climbers and slides. The playground also features a sensory wave climber with adaptive switch technology, Merry-Go-ALL, arch swing and Rock-n-Raft. The playground sets next to a small sprayground water play area and a nearby shelter. The play area is surrounded by a concrete walk and has poured-in-place rubber safety surfacing.
