Project Overview
Ridgedale Heights Park in Johnston, Iowa, offers a playful mix of active recreation and sensory engagement through a thoughtfully designed neighborhood playground. Centered around a PrimeTime modular structure for ages 5–12, the space encourages climbing, exploration, and imaginative outdoor play.
Musical features throughout the playground—including interactive butterfly, flower, mushroom, and rhythm elements from Freenotes—create opportunities for creativity, sensory discovery, and collaborative experiences. An arch swing adds classic motion play and complements the playground’s interactive atmosphere.
Together, these elements create a welcoming community space where children can move, create, and connect through play.
