Project Overview
First United Methodist Church in Jackson, Tennessee, created a welcoming outdoor play space designed to bring children, families, and the community together through active play and exploration. Supported through the 2025 GameTime Community Champions Grant, the playground features a GameTime PrimeTime Modular Structure for Ages 5–12 designed to encourage climbing, movement, imagination, and social interaction.
Additional play elements include GameTime swings and the Freenotes Flowers Inground Ensemble Collection, adding musical and sensory experiences that encourage creativity and engagement. Accessibility features, including an Access PlayCurb with adapter, help create a more inclusive environment where children of varying abilities can participate.
With durable playground borders, geo-textile materials, and thoughtful design elements, this new play space provides First United Methodist Church with a safe, engaging destination where children can build friendships, explore their surroundings, and enjoy the benefits of outdoor play.
