Project Overview
Charlie McCoy Park in Fayetteville, West Virginia, combines nature-inspired play with accessible outdoor recreation to create an engaging destination for children and families. The playground is connected by an ADA-accessible trail set within poured-in-place surfacing, providing convenient access to play experiences throughout the site.
Adventure-focused elements such as the Treetop Traverse, Catalina Climber, and Odyssey Climber encourage children to build confidence, develop coordination, and explore through active movement. A T-Frame swing set and Duo Spinner add classic motion-based play opportunities that support social interaction and inclusive fun.
Together, these features create a welcoming nature-themed playground where children can climb, explore, and connect with the outdoors while enjoying accessible, community-centered recreation.
