Project Overview
Vinton War Memorial Playground in Vinton, Virginia, offers a welcoming and inclusive play environment designed with creative themed elements and accessibility in mind. The playground features two custom play towers set in poured-in-place surfacing with floral graphics in green “grass” tones, creating a colorful and engaging space for children to explore.
An ADA-accessible musical play area encourages sensory engagement and interactive fun, while the swing zone, highlighted with butterfly graphics set against a blue “sky” design,adds imaginative visual appeal to active play. Shaded picnic tables and benches provide comfortable gathering spaces for families and caregivers, making the park a community-friendly destination for rest, play, and connection.
