Project Overview
Municipal Park in Germantown, Tennessee, features a large inclusive playground designed to encourage exploration, creativity, and active play for children of all abilities. The centerpiece is a ramped PowerScape play structure that provides accessible routes to elevated play experiences, complemented by an Xscape play structure, swings, and a variety of climbing and balancing opportunities.
Interactive musical elements—including Harmonic Chimes, Melody Chimes, and the Concert Duo—create engaging sensory experiences, while features like the Sensory Wave Seat, Shadow Play Flower, Talk Tube, Communication Board, and freestanding play panels encourage collaborative, imaginative, and inclusive play. Poured-in-place surfacing and improved accessible pathways further enhance usability throughout the playground.
